One day later and the hollyhock has started blooming. The one in front of the shed is almost black - no girlyhocks for this shed! I don't know what color the others will be but one of them looks pretty red-pink. They're so dramatic!

That black hollyhock really is stunning.
I just wish the camera was a little more detailed in the resolution department...they are pretty striking arent't they. Wish I could say they were my idea...
